Freaky Green Eyes a review by Liz Hill

Freaky Green Eyes

By Joyce Carol Oates

****

Have you ever noticed that sometimes when thing go wrong in your life you tend to ignore it? That's how things are for Franky Pierson. She has it all a famous father and the perfect mother; every kids dream. That is till her mother starts to get a little more involved at work and not being around the family as much. Franky's whole family knows somethings not right but her father tries to ignore it for a while. His the type of guy who likes to live his life to the full. As her mother starts to take herself out of the family circle even more Franky starts to think about what just might be making her mom want to live on her own. This is a creepy story full of gathering tension. Franky seems to have two voices inside her head, each telling her two different things for every event. What you'll be wanting to know is whether she'll be able to work out what is going on in time to sort everything out.

I really enjoyed this book. It's a page turner for sure and will keep you wanting to never set the book down. Don't let the title or cover set you off from wanting to read this book. I assure you it's way better than it looks.

This seems a little too creepy and dramatic..but I still might end up reading it.
