Chloe Saunders knows she isn't crazy. So why is she put in a center for disturbed teens? Well....for one thing she isn't really "normal". Chloe sees dead people. At Lyle House, Chloe notices there is something off about Lyle House. Chloe only wanted to "recover" and get out of there a.s.a.p. But when her room mate disappears, after confessing her secret, Chloe can't just leave. Chloe, along with her fellow room mates, must uncover the truth, even if it means unveiling her secret.

I gave this book 5 stars because I remember checking it out last summer and I was captivated. Yeah, it might be like any other paranormal series/book yet it's so different. Armstrong's characters captivated me like no other. I felt that unlike other paranormal books, Armstrong didn't make her characters perfect, they had flaws from the very beginning. To me that shows that no one is or will ever be perfect. That's reality. I liked that. Haha. I loved the plot and overall enjoyed reading this book!

If you've read any of the other Touch books...I'm pretty sure you'll love and hate this new installment in the Touch Series. ")

Camelia has only ever known the difference between her and the world. Growing up not knowing and knowing, Camelia has a near-death experience that changes her future forever.

In this new installment, Camelia starts hearing voices. Voices telling her she would be better off dead, she's a fool and doesn't deserve to live. If only that was the only problem. Ben, her ex-boyfriend, is seeing someone new. Camelia tries to act like it doesn't bother her ,but Ben is comeone special because they both share a secret noone can know. To make matters worse...Ben could possibly be Cammie's soulmate yet, it seems far too late. Camelia has special powers. Powers that make her see things. Premonitions of a sort. When Cammie starts sculting a figure skater, she doesn't know what to do. With the creepy voices getting harder to tune out. It's only a matter of time before something goes wrong....again.

Read Deadly Little Voices.....a book that will keep you hungry for more! XP

I rate Deadly Little Voices...3 Stars because I was so disappointed with the ending....actually with everything really. I enjoyed the first installments but when I got to the climax of this story...I just about wanted to shot myself! I'm so sad! I did like seeing that Cammie is jealous and it's obvious there's still something between Ben and her. Hopefully in the next, and final(?), book there is hope and happiness!

Evie finds herself in the life she has always dreamed of. Boring is all that comes to mind. But then one day after school she finds Raquel waiting for her, and she knows she needs to go back to where she truly belongs. But then Reth comes with horrible news and Evie is once again thrown off the comfy paths she was just starting to build. Except this time..the battle is for her freedom and survival.

I personally fell in love with this series. Right from the first page I was entrapped and couldn't put it down. Evie is a strong-willed person who combines girly-girl with a fierce style. Although Reth can get annoying, you can tell he cares for Evie..but I'm totally going for Lend-Evie. I like the way White mixed love, survival, and the feeling of trying to find oneself. I thought it was nice and I hope you guys enjoy these two books like I did. X)

Cathy Vickers is back, and now she's trying to disappear. After finding three dead bodies under her window one morning, Cathy realizes that someone's after her. She decides it's best thaty she just disappear instead letting her family or friends get hurt. Unfortunately, fate has other plans for her. The unfolding mystery has Cathy finding allies in former enemies and following a path to self-discovery.

What I really enjoyed about this series was how much effort the authors put in to not make it seem like your typical paranormal romance. There's a lot of other stuff going on, the romance just happens to be the trigger for it. The series also realistically (as one can get in paranormal fiction) explores how people feel being the side characters in somenone else's story. Cathy's tendency to make everything about herself is a noted character flaw. That being said, this book could have been a lot better. The ending was very cliche and anticlimactic because everyhting comes together far too nicely. Still, I'd reccomend this series.

This book is the sequel to Cathy's book. It follows Cathy as she unravels the secrets surrounding Cathy's boyfriend, Victor, her best friend's budding business, amd her father's death. Even though her biggest problems are purely paranormal, she still deals with things like trying (and failing) to stay employed so she can can pay her mother rent, documenting it all in in her notebook.


This series has all the trappings of a paranormal romance (love triangle and all), but the authors do keep things interesting with a unique take on immortality (rooted in Chinese mythololgy), interesting charcters and subplots, and well-paced humor. Since third book is already out, I'm going to read it next. If you plan on reading this, it's probably in your best interest to call the number on the book, and actually take a look inside the bag.

Blue Moon is the second book in the Immortal Series with Evermore as the first. For those of you have not read Evermore, it is about this teenage girl named Ever who is the only survivor of a car crash that killed her family and dog. However, when Ever wakes up in the hospital, she can't remember anything except looking into someone's eyes before she passed out. Now Ever has moved to sunny California with her aunt and started a new life for herself making new friends, or has she? After the crash Ever can see peoples auras and see their life flash before her eyes by a single touch. So to avoid such things she remains to herself and is there regarded as the school freak. All that changes when she meets hot and sexy looking Damen who seems to be the only person she can't read. Ever falls in love with him, but things head down hill when she discovers he is an immortal and had something to do with her family's accident and bringing her back to life. He made her an immortal. Now, in Blue Moon Ever has accepted who she is, and as an immortal she is quite eager to learn everything she can about her new abilities. Except there is one problem, Damen seems to be losing his abilities while Ever is gaining hers. Now Ever must find a solution quick before she loses the love of her life, but when she discovers the answer another opportunity arises, the chance to be with her family again. Will she choose her family, or the love of her life?

I gave this novel two stars because it was so predictable. I mean right away I had a pretty good idea how the book was going to end and that just made me not want to read it anymore although I did. Don't get me wrong there were some eye catching spots, but all together, it felt like a waste of paper. Hopefully Alyson Noel's third book in this series, Shadowland, will be much better and save Blue Moon and Evermore from being one of the worst series I have read.
